確定還是可能？

翻譯外電對台灣棒球記者來說極為平常，原因是有太多的旅外球員得追蹤，而又沒派人去跟著採訪，只好靠著原文給讀者二手資料，只不過，記者的英文常常不太好，所以出現以下的笑話。

旅美球星》胡金龍表現優 可能打秋季聯盟

道奇2A胡金龍在小聯盟表現優秀，被喻為來自台灣的「內野魔術師」，未來發展深獲期待，道球官網昨天藉答覆網友提問的方式指出，可能會讓胡金龍在小聯盟球季之後，加入亞歷桑納州秋季聯盟，繼續磨練。

在洛杉磯道奇官方網站的最新文章中，的確提到胡金龍，也的確寫著(Hu is a Taiwanese defensive magician.)只不過，出自夏威夷球迷問題是：你可以告訴我們那些新秀會參加夏威夷冬季聯盟與亞歷桑納秋季聯盟嗎？(Can you fill us in on the prospects that will play in the Hawaiian Winter League and the Arizona Fall League?)
而答案是

The Dodgers also will have a regular contingent of players in the Arizona Fall League: right-handed relief pitcher Brian Akin, left-handed starting pitcher Scott Elbert, right-handed relief pitcher Casey Hoorelbeke, left-handed starting pitcher Danny Muegge, catcher A.J. Ellis, shortstop Chin-Lung Hu and outfielder Anthony Raglani. Akin was a 14th-round pick in the 2004 First-Year Player Draft out of Davidson College. Elbert is a 20-year-old former first-round pick on the fast track. The 6-foot-8 Hoorelbeke, who pitched in the Fall League last year, is the son of the lead singer in the rock band Rare Earth. Muegge is one of the three pitchers who came to the Dodgers with Dioner Navarro from Arizona in the Shawn Green trade in 2005. Ellis was an 18th-round pick in 2003 out of Austin Peay University. Hu is a Taiwanese defensive magician. Raglani was a fifth-round pick in 2004 out of George Washington University.

沒錯，胡金龍已經列在秋季聯盟的名單當中，事實上，在8月21日公布AFL球員名單時，胡金龍已經列入Mesa Solar Sox的名單裡面。 不知道記者是功課沒做好沒注意到胡金龍已經列入球員名單，還是英文不好沒發現這根本不只是可能，而是確定。

原本以為狀況到此結束，沒想到往下看又發現問題。

La new熊隊陳金鋒也曾在旅美第3年，在秋季聯盟比賽過，賽期到10月底左右結束。

短短的三句話，就有兩句出錯，根據AFL All-Time Roster，陳金鋒曾經於2000和2001年都打過AFL，換算成他的旅美則是第二和第三年，至於秋季聯盟賽程是從10月10日一直打到11月18日舉行的冠軍賽。

寫一則新聞可以搞錯兩件，弄不清楚一件，實在令人大為佩服，往好的方面想，還好他不是說胡金龍不打秋季聯盟，以記者的水準來說，應該已經是六十分了吧！
